The kids are watching shapes of clouds, imaginations free

There are kings and wizards, dragons flying, fun and fancy free

And he laid down and dreamt of castle of glass

And he told her the tale and his mother sighed

For she knew that those days were not made to last

It seems like only yesterday that little boy was me

Telling you my dreams and all the things I'd see

And we ran and laughed and played imaginations running wild

Dreaming all the dreams you dream when you're a child

And the little boy ran through the years so fast

And he laid down and dreamt of the days that were gone

And he told her the tale and his mother laughed

For she knew that those days were meant to live on
